
The President of the Republic, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, has graced the award ceremony of Jamiyyathul Falah’s Golden Jubilee Holy Quran Recitation Competition. This year, 535 students participated in the Quran recitation competition organized by Jamiyyathul Falah during the month of Ramadan. The award ceremony was held at the conference hall of the Islamic Center. During this ceremony, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu presented awards and commemorative plaques to 13 students who achieved notable rankings in the competition. This included both schools and individual students. Additionally, awards were presented to students who achieved various rankings in both memorized and non-memorized recitation categories.
During this ceremony, a commemorative plaque for Jamiyyathul Falah’s Golden Jubilee Holy Quran Recitation Competition was presented to President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. The competition, held annually during Ramadan, saw participation from primary, secondary, and higher secondary students from 24 schools across Male’, Hulhumale’, and Vilimale’. According to Falah Association, this competition aims to instill love for the Quran among students, encourage memorization of the Quran, and produce students who can recite the Holy Quran in accordance with the rules of Tajweed.
