Similar to the previous Ramadan, the government has declared a holiday for the last 10 days of this Ramadan. The President’s Office stated that as per the announcement made on February 4, 2024, starting from the 1445th year of Hijri, the period from the 20th day of Ramadan until the end of the month will be observed as government holidays every year. Accordingly, government offices will be closed for the last 10 days of Ramadan, beginning from Thursday, March 20th of this year.
The President’s Office also mentioned that this decision was made to establish Islamic principles, foster love for religious matters among the people, and provide opportunities to prioritize religious affairs.
