President Discusses Most Important Issues with Bodufolhudhoo Residents

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu met with the with the Bodufolhudhoo Island Council of North Ari Atoll, the Women’s Development Committee, and leaders of some of the island’s institutions to discuss the most important issues for the residents. This meeting took place today at the Bodufolhudhoo Council Office. During the meeting, among the issues highlighted by the council members was the importance of a new housing project. Additionally, the council requested to resolve the island’s sewerage system issues, introduce integrated tourism to the island, and designate an island for residents’ travel.

Furthermore, the island school representatives highlighted the need for a multi-purpose hall for the school. The council also requested to upgrade the island’s health center to provide 24-hour service with X-ray facilities. During this meeting, the President stated that he would look into the issues raised by the council. Through the ministers and heads of state companies who participated in the meeting, he shared information about the ongoing projects on the island.
