
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu departed this morning on a four-day visit to the inhabited islands of Miladhunmadulu Uthuru (Northern Miladhunmadulu) Atoll. During this visit, the President will visit the inhabited islands of the atoll and meet with the island councils and Women’s Development Committees (WDCs). He is also scheduled to discuss matters related to the development needs of those islands and the aspirations of the residents, and to meet with the people of the islands.
During this visit, the President will travel to 14 inhabited islands in Miladhunmadulu Uthuru Atoll. He is scheduled to visit Kanditheemu, Noomaraa, Goidhoo, Feydhoo, Feevah, Bileffahi, Foakaidhoo, Milandhoo, Narudhoo, Maroshi, Lhaimagu, Funadhoo, Komandoo, and Maaugoodhoo. This visit is also part of a series of trips undertaken by the President to visit all atolls of the Maldives and to meet with the atoll, island, and city councils.
During this trip, the President is accompanied by several ministers and senior officials from various government institutions.
