Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta has expressed satisfaction with his team’s improved start to the English Premier League season. He made this statement after defeating rival Manchester United 1-0 in the season’s first match. The coach of the team, which has competed for the title in the past three seasons and finished second, said that he noticed improvements in his team compared to the previous season. “Our rhythm is good. The way we built attacks and progressed from midfield was very good. However, there are still aspects of the team that need improvement. In such a long season, the most important thing is to have a good start. I’m very pleased that we achieved that,” Arteta said.

He also mentioned that Arsenal’s new forward, Havertz, showed a good performance in this match. “This was his first match. He has performed better than we expected. As he becomes more accustomed to the team, he will continue to improve with each match,” the coach said. Arsenal is one of the teams that spent the most in pursuit of winning the Premier League this season. Specifically, Havertz is the player the club acquired to strengthen their forward line, which was considered their biggest weakness.
