New distribution arrangements for tuna cases in Male’ and Hulhumale’

Minister Adam Shareef Umar has announced that new arrangements have been established for households in Male’ and Hulhumale’ that are yet to collect their Ramadan tuna case gifts. Under these measures, distribution will be carried out at the Public Works site in Male’, as well as MIFCO outlets in Hulhumale’ Phase 1 and Phase 2. These locations will be open for collection every night, except Fridays, from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

To date, more than 54,000 cases have been distributed within the Greater Male’ Region, while the distribution process has been completed in most of the islands across the atolls. As part of a government initiative, each household receives a gift of one case containing 48 cans of tuna every Ramadan.
