
Minister Adam Naseer Ibrahim has stated that the commencement of seaplane services in Thoddoo marks a significant advancement for local tourism, opening new doors for the island’s residents to generate income. This service, initiated as part of the President’s presidential address, aims to provide a permanent solution to the travel disruptions caused by adverse weather conditions, thereby eliminating seasonal downturns in the tourism sector. Furthermore, the Minister highlighted that this opportunity will establish Thoddoo as a model island in promoting Maldivian culture and traditions.
