The Maldives National Service Program is a government-led training initiative designed to enhance the skills and capabilities of youth while fostering personal development. Announced by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu on Victory Day 2024, the program’s inaugural phase has already seen the graduation of 344 participants. Among them, a selected group of 66 young individuals has commenced a four-month technical training program in B. Kihadhoo, which leads to a Level 3 Certificate qualification. Receiving significant public support, this project stands as a promising opportunity to address social challenges and empower a disciplined, skilled workforce of youth ready for the job market.
