The Vice President highlighted that achieving such a prestigious milestone with a flawless record, despite the lack of adequate facilities, serves as a profound source of inspiration for aspiring young athletes across the Maldives. After securing the championship title with a victory over Bhutan, the national team is scheduled to return home with the trophy on the 27th of this month.
