State Electric Company (STELCO)’s Board of Directors has removed Mohamed Aamir and appointed Aishath Muzna. At the time of her appointment to the board, Muzna was serving as the Deputy Managing Director of the company. While the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) announced this change to the STELCO board, they did not disclose the reason for this decision.
The government has recently made significant changes to STELCO’s management. One such change was the removal of Hussain Fahmy from the position of Managing Director and the appointment of Ahmed Shamah Rasheed to that position. The PC PCB did not reveal the reason for this change either.
