MTCC Entrusted with Upgrading Feridhu Health Center

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been entrusted with upgrading the Feridhu Health Center in Alif Alif Atoll. The task of upgrading the Feridhu Health Center was assigned to MTCC during the President’s ongoing visit to Alif Alif Atoll. The agreement for upgrading the Feridhu Health Center was signed by Minister Abdullah Nazim Ibrahim on on behalf of the Ministry of Health, while MTCC was represented by its Managing Director, Ahmed Saudee.

The current building of the Feridhu Health Center in Alif Alif Atoll began its services in 2003. Patient consultations, inpatient care, and administrative work are all conducted within this small structure. Additionally, a new building was added to the health center in 2023. The Feridhu Health Center provides services for 16 hours a day. On average, more than 4,000 people seek services from the health center annually.
