The Minister of Sports, Fitness, and Recreation, Abdulla Rafiu, has invited as many people as possible to join the special festivities tonight at 21:30 at Artificial Beach to welcome the national team following their SAFF Futsal Championship victory. To celebrate this historic achievement, in which the Maldives remained undefeated throughout the tournament, an exciting event featuring fireworks and traditional Boduberu performances has been organized.
Upon their arrival in Malé, the team will parade the trophy through Ameenee Magu and Majeedhee Magu en route to Artificial Beach, where the public will have the opportunity to take photos with the players. Additionally, the Minister noted that arrangements regarding the cash prizes to be awarded to the team by the President will be finalized tomorrow.
