Maziya has solidified its position at the top of the Dhivehi Premier League standings with a comfortable 11-point lead following a convincing 3-0 victory over Victory Sports Club.
Dominating the match from the start, Maziya broke the deadlock in the 55th minute with a goal by Ahmed Aiham. The lead was further extended when Hamza Mohamed successfully converted a penalty. The final blow was delivered in the 68th minute by substitute Mohamed Ilan Imran, who found the back of the net shortly after coming off the bench.
With this result, Maziya has accumulated 40 points from 13 matches, bringing them significantly closer to clinching the league title.
