The national airline, Maldivian, is scheduled to commence its seaplane operations to AA. Thoddoo on the 12th of this month. In fulfillment of the President’s pledge, this service will be provided twice weekly to the island. Maldivian expects this development to significantly enhance Thoddoo’s tourism industry and contribute to its economic growth. Additionally, the company is currently working on expanding its fleet to extend seaplane services to more resorts and other islands across the country.
