In a strategic move to enhance connectivity across the four southern atolls, Maldivian has officially commenced air operations linking Addu City, Fuvahmulah City, Kooddoo, and Kaadedhdhoo. Utilizing 15-seater Twin Otter aircraft, the newly introduced flights are priced competitively between MVR 500 and MVR 900.

This service is expected to significantly ease travel for residents seeking medical care and other essential services, while also providing substantial logistical benefits to the business community and the general public. As part of the government’s commitment to strengthening the regional transportation network, this initiative positions Gan International Airport as the primary aviation hub for the southern region.
