Maldives Immigration has reported that a total of 1,056 tourists have arrived in the Maldives via two cruise liners so far this year. The most recent vessel to dock, the “MS Crystal Symphony,” brought 577 tourists, while the first cruise liner of the year carried 479 passengers.
The Maldivian tourism sector has seen a growth of 8.3% compared to the previous year, with total arrivals exceeding 143,000 as of the 20th of this month. To date, the highest number of visitors have originated from Russia and Italy.
