Minister of Sports, Fitness and Recreation, Abdulla Rafiu, has announced that the upcoming “Maldives Sports Awards,” scheduled to take place on the evening of the 15th of next month at the Social Centre, will introduce several special features dedicated to athletes. A significant departure from previous years, this edition will include the presentation of official certificates alongside the awards to help athletes strengthen their professional profiles and CVs. Since its inception in 2022, this prestigious ceremony has served as the premier platform to honor the sporting community and drive positive transformation across the Maldives’ sports landscape.
