The Maldivian government has condemned the ongoing attacks by the terrorist Israeli military on Gaza, Palestine, and called on the international community to take immediate action against Israel. After refraining from major massacres in Israel for many days, last night the Israeli military launched powerful attacks on Gaza, martyring many people. Israel has carried out severe attacks on civilians, even setting fire to tents where civilians live.
In a statement released by the Foreign Ministry regarding this matter, it was said that they strongly condemn the killing of more than 400 people, including innocent Palestinian children, in the powerful airstrikes Israel launched on various areas of Gaza. The statement also mentioned that this attack during the holy month of Ramadan is completely contrary to the peace agreement, international human rights, and humanitarian laws.
The Foreign Ministry’s statement called on international organizations to take immediate and swift measures to hold Israel accountable for its attack. The Maldivian government’s statement expressed full support for the rights of the Palestinian people to establish an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. The Maldives has also called on the international community to take robust measures in this regard.
