
The First Lady, Sajida Mohamed, has arrived in Kulhudhuffushi City to participate in the special ceremony marking the 43rd anniversary of Kulhudhuffushi Hospital. The First Lady was warmly welcomed upon her arrival in Kulhudhuffushi City. Today, she visited Kulhudhuffushi Hospital to inspect its services. She met with senior officials of the hospital and heads of various departments, and reviewed the work of different departments. She also inquired about the current challenges faced in running the hospital. She met with some patients and checked on their condition.

During her visit, Madam Sajida will participate in the 43rd anniversary ceremony of Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital. The ceremony will include recognizing individuals who have contributed to the hospital’s development in various ways, as well as honoring those who have served the hospital for 10, 20, and 30 years. Additionally, it is planned for her to inaugurate the Non-Communicable Diseases Clinic, Endometriosis Service, and Telemedicine Service at the hospital.
Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital is the main hospital in the north, serving three northern atolls and other northern atolls that rely on it for health services. The government continues to work extensively to expand the services of this hospital.
