Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) Chairperson Aishath Noorain Janah has stated that the company will maintain its past successes and achieve further accomplishments in the future. MACL held its 2024 Annual General Meeting at Hulhule Island Hotel. The meeting was attended by MACL Chairperson Aishath Noorain Janah, MACL board members, CEO and Managing Director Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed, and EXCO members.
MACL Chairperson Noorain said that the successes achieved by MACL in the past year represent significant progress for the company. She added that MACL’s future looks bright and expressed hope for further achievements for the company. Speaking at the meeting, MACL CEO and Managing Director Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed stated that the success achieved by MACL in the past year is the result of collective effort. He assured the board and management of his full confidence in continuing this trajectory.
CEO Shareef said that MACL’s goal is to expand and improve the services provided by the company with the new terminal, while increasing the company’s profits. He stated that the new terminal will be a revolutionary change for Maldives tourism. The most prioritized work MACL is currently undertaking is the opening of the new passenger terminal. As the new passenger terminal at Velana Airport opens, MACL has established many infrastructural facilities to expand services and take them to the next level.
MACL says it will always work towards providing comprehensive services to passengers, airlines, and stakeholders.
