Liverpool has rejected Bayern Munich’s £58 million bid for Colombian forward Luis Diaz. Earlier this month, Bayern had also inquired about purchasing him from Liverpool. However, Liverpool’s response was that he is not a player for sale. The 28-year-old Diaz is currently under contract with Liverpool until 2027. In addition to Bayern, Spain’s Barcelona is also working to acquire him. However, Liverpool is not willing to let the player go.

Spanish English newspapers report that Liverpool would only consider selling Diaz if an offer of 100 million euros is made. However, this is not a price that either Bayern or Barcelona are willing to pay. Since joining Liverpool, Diaz has scored 22 goals for the team in the past season. Diaz is a Barcelona supporter. His father has previously stated that he hopes to see his son in a Barcelona jersey someday.

Barcelona has intensified its efforts to acquire Diaz as the club’s financial situation has begun to improve. Specifically, the club’s salary cap and spending limit for players have increased within the framework provided by the Spanish league. As a result, the club’s Sporting Director, Deco, is reportedly keeping a close eye on Diaz as one of the top players he is monitoring, according to Spanish newspapers.
