
Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who was playing for PSG in France, has transferred to Manchester City on the final day of the transfer window. The 26-year-old Donnarumma, who is the captain of Italy, has moved to the Premier League after playing a crucial role in PSG’s triple trophy win last season. Among these achievements, Donnarumma’s contribution was particularly significant in PSG’s first-ever UEFA Champions League victory in the club’s history. Donnarumma hasn’t played in any matches for PSG this season, and he had announced on August 12 that he would be leaving PSG. Donnarumma has transferred to Manchester City for a fee of 30 million euros.
Following the Euro 2024 football tournament, Donnarumma, who continues to captain Italy, has moved to Manchester City, while the club’s previous goalkeeper, Brazilian Ederson, has transferred to Fenerbahçe in Turkey.
