Protests against the Jewish aggression on Gaza have led to the closure of some ports in Italy. A large number of port workers in Italy have obstructed work at the ports, claiming solidarity with the Palestinian people. They took this action to prevent the transport of weapons used by Jews to attack Gaza through these ports. With thousands participating in the protests, there have been confrontations between protesters and police. Police have used tear gas to disperse the demonstrations. In connection with the unrest, 10 people have been arrested in Milan, while 60 police officers have also been injured in these confrontations.
The protests have also affected traffic in some areas. While transportation systems have been impacted, services at some train stations have been disrupted. Some schools have also been closed. Italy’s Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, has condemned the clashes and acts of vandalism during the protests. Stating that such actions would not change the situation for Gaza’s residents, Meloni highlighted the damage these would cause to Italian citizens.
Since October 7, 2023, Jews have been launching aggressive attacks on Gaza’s Palestinian population with the aim of genocide. These attacks have so far killed more than 65,000 people, while Jews are severely restricting the entry of food and aid supplies into Gaza. As a result, Gaza’s population has become starved and weakened. The number of people dying from hunger in Gaza is increasing day by day. As Gaza’s situation is visible to the entire world, many people in various regions of the world are raising their voices in support of Palestine.
