Laiba won three gold medals competing in three categories at the “Armenian Youth Open 2025”. She won gold medals in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles events. This is the first time Laiba has won gold medals in an international tournament. It is also the first time the Maldives has won a gold medal in the junior category. In the singles event of this tournament, Laiba won the gold medal by defeating Emilia from Cyprus in two sets with scores of 21-15 and 21-11.
In the mixed doubles event, Laiba and Eric from Armenia won the gold medal by defeating two players from Cyprus with scores of 21-11 and 25-23. In the doubles event, Laiba and Emilia from Cyprus won the gold medal by defeating two players from Georgia and Cyprus with scores of 21-11 and 21-11.
