Ali Nisthar Mohamed, the coach of Club Green Streets, has stated that there are aspects the team needs to improve in upcoming matches, and he is confident that the players will turn the results around. Although Green Streets hasn’t yet produced desirable results in the Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League, Nisthar said that these results can still be changed. In their first league match, Green Streets lost to Valencia with a score of 1-2. In the second match, Green Streets was defeated by Victory with a score of 0-1.
Green Streets has not earned any points from any match so far and is currently in seventh place in the league. Nisthar said that many mistakes were made in both of the first two matches, and they will correct these issues in the upcoming matches. Emphasizing his confidence in the players, Nisthar stated that he won’t consider the lack of practice as an excuse. Green Streets began the season with a very young squad. However, some experienced players from the previous season are also still with the club.
