Italy lost 3-0 in their match against Norway last night in the qualifying round for the FIFA World Cup scheduled to be held next year. Italy lost the away match against Norway, which was their first match in the qualifiers. However, this was Norway’s third match. Norway has won all three matches and is at the top of Group A in the qualifiers with nine points. Israel, in second place, has six points from three matches, while Estonia has 3 points from three matches. Italy is in fourth place and has not yet earned any points.

Although Italy controlled the match and held possession of the ball for longer periods, Norway created many attacks. Norway’s attacks were strong, and in the 14th minute, Alexander Sørloth scored a goal to give his team the lead. In the 34th minute, Antonio Nusa scored another goal, changing the score to 2-0. The third goal for Norway in this match was scored by Erling Haaland three minutes before the end of the first half. Italy showed a very ordinary performance in this match and lost, while they also failed to qualify for the past two World Cups.

Speaking after the match, Italy’s coach Luciano Spalletti said that this is the team he has taken over, and therefore he will continue with this team. He also said that there are many things that need to be improved. “This is the team I took over, so I will continue with this team. We have things we need to improve. We cannot give the ball away so easily to the opposing team and allow them to gain an advantage,” Spalletti said. In the qualifiers, Italy will face Moldova, who are at the bottom of the group without any points, next Monday.
