The Israeli forces have launched terrorist attacks, killing 12 people, under the pretext of assassinating senior officials of Hezbollah, the Lebanese resistance group. The Israeli attacks targeted a refugee camp in an area called Wadi Fara in the Beqaa Valley. Wadi Fara is located in eastern Lebanon. Lebanese state media reported that among the 12 people killed in the Israeli attack on the refugee camp in Wadi Fara, the majority were Syrian refugees. According to the Lebanese National News Agency, seven Syrian refugees were among those killed, while eight others were injured in these attacks.

Israel has attacked Lebanon in violation of the ceasefire agreement made with Hezbollah. A peace agreement between the two parties was formulated and implemented in November 2024. However, Israel continues to violate this agreement without interruption. The exchange of attacks between Hezbollah and Israel began on October 7, 2023, when Israel started a genocide against the people of Gaza in Palestine. As Hezbollah began attacking Israeli settlements to pressure an end to this aggression, Israeli forces also launched an offensive to kill Lebanese civilians. These offensives were halted with the ceasefire agreement.

According to the agreement, Israeli terrorist forces that had invaded Lebanese territories were to withdraw from these areas. However, in violation of the agreement, Israeli forces continue to operate in southern Lebanese towns. They also continue to commit inhumane crimes against Lebanese civilians without interruption.
