Trita Parsi, Vice President of the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, has said that Israel’s Jews attacked Iran without even considering Iran’s power and strength. Trita Parsi told CNN that the missile attacks Iran is launching on Israel demonstrate that despite killing a large number of military leaders in Israel’s initial attack, Iran still has the capability to strike back.
“Israel killed many of Iran’s top military leaders and believed that Iran’s command and control system was destroyed. However, that system was quickly rebuilt,” he said.
Parsi said that what we are now seeing is Iranian missiles penetrating all layers of Israel’s air defense system.
As Parsi made these comments, Iran continues to launch missile attacks on various parts of Israel without interruption. These attacks have caused significant damage to different areas of Israel. As attacks escalate between the two countries, the number of casualties on both sides is also increasing. Residents of Tehran, Iran’s capital, have begun to leave the city in search of safety.
Reports state that in last week’s “Operation Rising Lion” conducted by Israel, Iran’s highest-ranking military officers, the head of the Revolutionary Guards Corps, the Air Force chief, and the former national security chief were killed.
