Iran’s spiritual leader Ayatollah Khamenei has said that Iran will not surrender even if the Jews attack Iran. In a televised address, Khamenei said that Iran would not back down in the face of any pressure, threat or attack against the country. He praised the courage shown by the Iranian people at this time when the Jews are attacking Iran, and commended their actions in line with the situation. He said that the courage shown by the people demonstrates the level of development, faith and sharpness of the country’s citizens.
“Whether this country is forced to wage war or forced to establish peace, we will oppose it. This country will not respond to anything that is forcibly imposed,” he said. Regarding US President Donald Trump’s war-mongering statements, Khamenei warned the US military not to participate in attacking Iran. He said that wise people, and those who know Iran, its people and its long history, would not address Iran in a threatening manner. And he reiterated that Iran would not surrender. He also said that if the US military participates in attacking Iran, the bitter consequences would be irreversible.
Khamenei’s latest message came on the sixth day of exchanges of attacks between the two sides after the Jews initiated an attack on Iran on June 13. In the Jewish attack, many Iranian military commanders, nuclear scientists and civilians were martyred. In retaliation, Iran launched a special operation called ‘Operation True Promise 3’, launching powerful attacks on important areas of the Jewish state. So far, missile attacks have been carried out eleven times under this operation, and Jewish settlers hiding in bunkers have been faced with terror.
On June 17, Trump again threatened to use military force against Iran, accusing Iran of working to produce nuclear weapons. However, Iran maintains that it is not working to produce nuclear weapons. And Iran has said that it is ready to work in defense of the country’s freedom and independence.”
