The former coach of Chelsea, José Mourinho, has stated that he now wants to beat Chelsea. He said this while talking about tonight’s Champions League match against Chelsea as the coach of Portugal’s Benfica. Mourinho said that returning to Chelsea’s stadium after so many days feels like coming back to his own home. “Here, I feel like this is my own home. But now I’m not Chelsea’s man. I’m a red man. I want to win. That’s possible,” Mourinho said.

Having coached Chelsea twice and won the English Premier League three times for the club, Mourinho is the most successful coach in the club’s history. He also holds a special place of respect and love in the hearts of the club’s supporters. Chelsea’s coach Enzo Maresca said regarding this matter that it’s a pleasure to welcome Mourinho to Chelsea’s stadium. “To me, he is a legend of this club. And he is also a legend of Inter Milan in Italy. He is a legend of different clubs. This means his excellence,” Maresca said.

This is the first time in five years that Mourinho is appearing in a Champions League football match. He is one of Europe’s most successful coaches, having won the Champions League for Italy’s Inter Milan and Portugal’s Porto.
