Forward Robert Lewandowski has stated that he has no intention of playing for any team other than Barcelona in the upcoming season. The Polish captain and forward said this when journalists asked him when he would retire. The 37-year-old forward said that considering his physical training and fitness, he is now a younger player than before. “I will stop playing when my body and mind start telling me that I can’t do anything on the field anymore. Looking at my body now, my biological age is 32. So I can still play,” Lewandowski said.

He said he doesn’t have even the slightest thought of playing for any team other than Barcelona next season. “That’s not something in my mind. I’m certain that I will play for Barcelona next season. I’m fit. I have one year left on my contract. And it could be extended. I’m fit. Compared to before, I’m not scoring fewer goals,” Lewandowski said. Lewandowski said that in his career, he has won trophies with Bayern Munich and Dortmund in Germany, and he is also having successful days at Barcelona.

Lewandowski joined Barcelona in the 2021 season. He has played three seasons and scored 101 goals for the club. In the first season, he scored 33 goals, in the second season 26 goals, and he scored the most goals in the last season. That was 42 goals.
