Ibrahim Hujaan has won the Men’s Singles National Carrom Championship for the first time. In the final of the 34th National Carrom Tournament held at the National Carrom Hall, Hujaan competed against Ismail Azmeen, the national champion of the past three years. Hujaan won this match in straight two games. Hujaan displayed an exceptionally strong performance in this match, winning the games with scores of 25-10 and 25-15.
After winning the tournament championship, Hujaan said that following his loss in last year’s final, he had prepared well in advance for this year’s tournament. He also stated that beating Azmeen was a proud achievement. While Hujaan defeated Azmeen to claim his first-ever national tournament championship, these two players had also faced each other in last year’s final. On that occasion, Azmeen had defeated Hujaan to secure his third consecutive national championship title.
