Minister Dr. Abdulla Muththalib has announced that 877 applications have been submitted so far under the “Housing for All” policy, with the verification process scheduled to begin next week. Among the applications received, 221 pertain to land plots and 416 to flats, while more than 5,500 applications are currently in the process of being completed.
The Minister urged applicants to prioritize the accuracy and completeness of their information and supporting documentation over the speed of submission. Under this comprehensive housing scheme, the government aims to allocate a total of 15,000 land plots and 7,900 flats across the Greater Malé Region and Ras Malé.
The deadline for land plot applications is set for March 4th, while the deadline for flat applications is April 17th.
