The extension building of the Dhigurah Health Center in Alif Dhaal Atoll has been inaugurated. During his visit to Dhigurah, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu had the extension building of the health center opened by the Minister of Finance and Development Planning, Moosa Zameer. The President inspected the services established in the extension building.
Many important services have been established in this building. These include a unit providing general health services, a clinic to assist in quitting tobacco use, and a clinic for non-communicable diseases. Additionally, a clinic providing healthcare for pregnant women and a children’s health clinic have been established. Important administrative services of the health center have also been relocate been relocated to the new building. With this building, the issue of space needed for providing health services in Dhigurah will be resolved, greatly easing the provision of services.
