HDC says some department heads have been relieved of their responsibilities for a week. Although they come to the office and continue to receive salaries, they are not performing any work.
Since last Tuesday, five employees have been indefinitely suspended from their positions, but HDC has not disclosed the reason for this action. Access related to their job responsibilities has also been revoked.
Ali Zuhair was appointed as the Managing Director of HDC and Mohamed Asbah Ali as the Deputy Managing Director on the 30th of last month. The company’s former MD, Mauroof Jameel, resigned from his position at the direction of the Privatization and Corporatization Board.
