Guards who were protecting aid supplies brought into Gaza from looters have been martyred in airstrikes by the Jews. The Hamas group, which rules Gaza, says six members of the security team guarding the aid supplies were martyred in these attacks. Although attacks were suspended under a ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Jews that came into effect on January 19, the Jewish forces violated the agreement and resumed attacks on Gaza on March 18. A few days before violating the agreement, the Jews had tightened the blockade on Gaza, obstructing the entry of food and aid supplies into the area. More than two months have passed since then, and Gaza’s 2.3 million residents are facing extreme hunger and disease. However, the Jews have now allowed a small amount of food and aid supplies to enter Gaza.

Hamas said that 107 trucks carrying flour and other food items and medical supplies entered Gaza on May 22. However, aid distribution organizations have faced major challenges in delivering these supplies to Gaza residents who have lost their homes. A network of organizations active in providing aid to Gaza said that since the Jews allowed a small amount of aid to enter Gaza last Monday after more than two months, 119 trucks of supplies have been brought into Gaza so far. However, the network notes that one of the biggest challenges in distributing aid is the looting groups active in the Khan Younis city area. Some of these groups are armed groups, and they have looted food prepared for delivery to children and families facing extreme hunger, according to a statement released by the network.

The network of aid distribution organizations further said that the amount of aid supplies being brought into Gaza is not proportionate to the population of the area and is actually many times less than what is needed. They also noted that the supplies brought in so far include only a few varieties. The statement also noted that while the whole world was calling on the Jews to allow aid into Gaza, the Jews acted this way to escape the pressures they were facing.

The UN World Food Programme (WFP) said that 15 trucks of flour sent to bakeries by the agency were looted. WFP says that public unrest is increasing due to hunger, desperation, and fear of future food shortages. The agency has called on the Jews to provide sustainable and safe food delivery to Gaza and to significantly increase the amount of food brought into Gaza. The agency has again warned that more than two million people in Gaza are facing extreme hunger and will starve if immediate action is not taken.

In retaliation for Hamas’ attack on the Jews on October 7, 2023, due to intolerance of Jewish aggression, the Jewish forces began a genocide to exterminate the people of Gaza on the same day. Under this genocide, the Jewish forces have forced a large percentage of Gaza’s population to leave their homes. The number of people martyred in this aggression has risen to 53,600, while more than 120,000 people have been injured. And the homes and infrastructure of Gaza’s civilians have been destroyed and leveled to the ground. In the past 24 hours alone, the Jews have attacked 75 targets in Gaza. According to information provided by Palestinian health authorities, 25 people have been martyred in these attacks.
