The Ministry of Cities, Local Government and Public Works has announced that the nationwide distribution of canned fish cases, gifted by the government for Ramadan, is scheduled to conclude by 23:00 tonight. While the distribution to most islands across the atolls has already been completed, over 43,923 households in the Greater Malé area have received their cases to date. The Ministry highlighted that the operation is proceeding smoothly; despite some minor logistical challenges, all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure that households yet to receive their cases will do so by the end of tonight.
