The funeral prayer for Yusuf Alsan Mohamed, who passed away in a dangerous accident in Male’ last night, has been arranged to be held today after Asr prayer. The funeral prayer will take place at Aasahara Mosque after Asr prayer. In the accident that occurred on Boduthakurufaanu Magu last night, there were two youths on the motorcycle, aged 16 and 17. The accident happened when the motorcycle, driven at high speed by the two youths, collided with a 40-year-old man trying to cross the road at Kafihihurah, and then hit a pickup hit a pickup truck traveling in the area.
In this accident, the 17-year-old has passed away. He was the only child of famous singer Mariyam Ashfa and Mohamed Abdul Ghani (Theyraa). The police stated that Alsan was driving the motorcycle.
