Starting yesterday until October 13th, MTCC has announced that their buses will not stop at the Jumhooree Maidhaan bus stop. The company made this announcement due to the closure of the northern section of Boduthakurufaanu Magu for renovation work to expand it to four lanes and modernize it. MTCC stated that due to the closure of the area from the MMA region to Izzudheen Jetty on Boduthakurufaanu Magu, changes have been made to the R12 route of their RTL bus service from August 18th to October 13th.
MTCC has stated that during this period, buses on this route will not stop at the Jumhooree Maidhaan bus stop. The company apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause to customers. To modernize Boduthakurufaanu Magu, one side of the road has been closed from today until October 13th. As a result, the road will be closed from the Travelers’ Market to the Official Jetty.
