Mbappé scored a goal in the final minute of the first half, giving his team the lead. With this goal, his tally for the national team has reached 50. Mbappé has become the third player to score 50 goals for the national team, following Olivier Giroud and Thierry Henry. Giroud has scored 57 goals, while Henry has scored 51.
The second goal for France in this match was scored by Michaël Olise from an assist by Mbappé, with just six minutes remaining in full time.
