The foundation for the F. Magoodhoo Fitness and Recreation Center has been laid. The practical work of constructing the Fitness and Recreation Center in Magoodhoo was initiated by the Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment, Abdullah Rafiu, as part of the President’s tour to F. Atoll. The contractor for this project is MTCC’s Managing Director, DCP (Rtd) Ahmed Saudhee. Additionally, members of the island council and government officials participated in the event. Under this project, MTCC will carry out groundwork, machinery and concrete work, roofing, painting, and exterior design work.
This is a project awarded to MTCC for 5.34 million rufiyaa, to be completed within 240 days. MTCC stated that once the Fitness and Recreation Center is established in Magoodhoo, it will bring social and health benefits to the residents of the island.
