Former President Dr. Mohamed Waheed Hassan has resigned from his position as the Special Envoy of the President. The President’s Office has confirmed that Dr. Waheed has formally submitted his resignation letter to the President. President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu appointed the former President to the role of Special Envoy on May 26th of last year.
