The Managing Director of HDC, Fazul Rasheed, and the entire board have been suspended today in connection with the investigation that began after the issue of plots being given to individuals not included in the Binverin scheme came to light.
In a statement just released by the Privatization and Corporatization Board, it was stated that in order to make room for the investigation initiated by the police regarding the land plot issue, all members of the board of directors, except for the company’s chairman Ahmed Nasif, have been suspended effective today.
