The family of the late Fadheelathush Sheikh Ibrahim Fareed Ahmed, a renowned Maldivian religious scholar and dedicated preacher, has expressed gratitude to the President and the Maldivian government for the comprehensive handling of his funeral arrangements. Sheikh Ibrahim Fareed’s funeral was held yesterday after the noon prayer at the Haji Fisabilillah Mosque in Selangor, Malaysia. Sheikh Fareed was laid to rest at the Tanah Perkuburan Islam Raudhatul Baqi cemetery.
Sheikh Fareed’s family has thanked President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, for the complete arrangements of the funeral. They have also sincerely thanked the Malaysian Ambassador, all staff of the High Commission, and everyone who assisted in completing the funeral arrangements.
Additionally, the family has expressed gratitude to all those who sent condolences to the late Fareed’s family. They have also thanked those who participated in the funeral in Malaysia, those who joined remotely, and everyone who praised Sheikh Fareed or spoke kind words about him on social media.
