President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has announced that the practical work for establishing Youth Hubs in all cities and nine selected islands across various atolls will commence within this year. These centers are designed as integrated facilities where youth can access skill development programs, recreational activities, and essential services such as counseling and mental health support under one roof. Highlighting the success of the existing Youth Hub in Malé, the President emphasized the government’s commitment to steering young people away from crime and raising awareness against extremism. Furthermore, he reiterated that special priority will be given to incorporating youth perspectives into the government’s decision-making processes.
