
The Maldives Customs Service and Maldives Police Service have held discussions on further strengthening their collaborative efforts. These consultations took place during a courtesy visit by the Commissioner General of Maldives Customs Service, Fathimath Dhiyana, to the Commissioner of Police, Ismail Naveen. The meeting, held at the Police Headquarters, Shaheed Hussain Adam Building, focused on enhancing cooperation between the Police Service and Maldives Customs Service, as well as discussing ways to further strengthen joint efforts in key areas.
In addition to the Customs Commissioner General, Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Waheed, Deputy Commissioner Mahmood Riyaz, and Deputy Commissioner Ibrahim Mafaz also participated in this meeting. The Maldives Police Service and Customs Service have been working together on numerous initiatives to enhance the country’s safety and security. These include border security operations, efforts to prevent illegal activities, and ongoing joint operations between the two agencies.
