
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu met with the Ari Atoll North Feridhu Council, the Women’s Development Committee, and leaders of some local institutions to discuss the most important issues for the citizens. This meeting took place today at the Feridhu Council Office.
During this meeting, council members requested that AA. Maafaru lagoon be designated as a travel destination for the island’s residents and asked for the expedited completion of the football ground. The council also highlighted concerns regarding the ongoing harbor project. Additionally, they emphasized the importance of addressing the school’s space constraints by adding a science classroom, a science lab, and a computer lab, along with the need for a perimeter wall. The council further noted challenges arising from the absence of a police station on the island, difficulties at the health center, and issues with the school’s electrical system, all of which were shared with the President.
In his remarks during the meeting, the President stated that he would work towards finding solutions to the issues raised by the council members. Through the ministers and heads of state companies present at the meeting, he also shared up-to-date information on the ongoing projects on the island.
