The expansion project for the Goidhoo Health Center has been contracted at a value of MVR 8.2 million, while the extension of the Fehendhoo Health Center is estimated to cost MVR 6.7 million. Both projects have been commissioned with a completion timeline of 480 days. President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has previously pledged to enhance the infrastructure and broaden the range of medical services available at the health centers in B. Goidhoo and Fehendhoo.
The government is currently prioritizing the advancement of healthcare services across the atolls, focusing on establishing essential facilities and improving the overall quality of medical care provided to the public.
