The police station being developed in Himandhoo is a project entrusted to the Road Development Corporation (RDC). This initiative is part of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s policy to expand police services to all inhabited islands in the Maldives. The government’s goal is to establish police stations and Maldives Police Service presence on every island within the next two years. Accordingly, work has already begun this year to establish police stations in many islands where they currently do not exist.
