Speaking to journalists before facing Club Sports tomorrow in the ongoing Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League, Coach Hernández said that Club Sports is an excellent team that perseveres until the very last moment. Noting that the team is ready for tomorrow night’s match, the coach said that there won’t be significant changes to Maziya’s play. However, the coach has stated that they will remain cautious about the opposing team.
“We are preparing for the match as we usually do. However, Maziya will enter the upcoming match with all focus on Club Sports. The reason is that they have been displaying excellent performance lately. Although they won one match and drew another, they are a team that perseveres until the last moment. Club Sports might even win this match. So this will be an excellent match. Nevertheless, Maziya will step onto the field tomorrow night with the determination to defeat the opposing team and win this match as well,” said the coach who has been achieving successes with Maziya.
Speaking to journalists, the coach said that Maziya’s team is also facing some injury issues. He also noted that due to some senior players leaving the team in recent days, they have been working hard to maintain the team’s consistency. The coach revealed that Maziya is always working on a long-term plan to keep the team at the highest quality. “In recent days, some players have left the team. And there are also injury issues in the team. Despite this, we are working hard to overcome this situation and maintain the team at a consistent level. We are also working to further improve the quality of the current squad. This is work we are doing with the future in mind,” Hernández said.
Highlighting that Maziya is a team with many young players, the coach said he believes these players can be developed to a good standard when looking to the future. Looking at the points table of the Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League, Maziya has secured the top spot with 6 points after winning both of their matches so far. And Club Sports, having won one match and drawn another out of the two matches played, has 4 points.
